Our design process

Our design process is set out in an easy step by step guide to ensure your wedding stationery journey experience is easy, simple and fun as possible.  We will guide you from start to finish through the process to help you create the perfect stationery suite that reflects your love story, aesthetic vision and individual style.

We offer two design options where we can either customise one of our semi-custom designs within our collections or you can opt for a bespoke design service.

Semi custom design

Browse our Semi-custom collections here. These designs have been thoughtfully curated to enable you to tailor these designs to suit your individual style and aesthetic vision. The full suite encompasses designs for each stage of your wedding journey, from save the dates, invitations, to “day of “stationery and signage through to thank you cards.

Select your preferred design that best aligns with your individual style and requirements or mix and match pieces across designs to create a unique wedding stationery suite.

Each design can be easily customised with a range of options by selecting your choice of print method, paper stocks, ink, die cut shapes and envelope colour options.

bespoke design

Looking for a more bespoke design experience?  We love the opportunity to work closely with our couples throughout the design process from initial design concepts and style inspiration.  This option enables couples to be more involved with the finer details and design elements to create a beautifully personal and cohesive wedding stationery suite.

This option incurs an additional fee dependent upon design brief requirements.

confirm and place your order

After our design consultation, we will send you a proposal and quote. Once you have accepted the quote and confirmed that you are happy to proceed with your order, we will send through an invoice for a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure your booking in our design schedule.  Once the payment has been received, we will allocate a time slot and discuss our project timeframe to begin the design process. 

As we are a small design studio, timelines may vary between each order during the peak wedding season, so we highly recommend booking ahead of time to ensure we can meet your required timeline.

The next step is to submit all your content details to be incorporated into your design, this includes table plans and guest lists.

Try to be as accurate as possible, however wording can always be amended throughout the design process if necessary.

design & proofing

When all the information has been received, we can now start the fun bit of creating the initial artwork proofs.  These will be emailed to you in digital format throughout the design process for you to review, give feedback and make any necessary changes.  The timeframe for the design and proofing stage varies between each order. Depending on the time of year, the number of changes and revisions requested and response times on both
ends. 

The design process usually takes between 2-4 weeks to complete.  Bespoke designs can take up to 8 weeks, due to the tailored nature of this service.  Process time for our semi-custom designs is generally a lot faster, with your first revision sent within 5 business days. Hand lettering takes 10 days.

approval & final payment

Carefully review your final artwork proofs, check all wording, details, and specifications are correct. Once we have received your approval on the final design and the remainder of your payment, your files are sent to print. Production time can vary depending on the printing method.

print & production

Please allow 7-10 business days from approval for digital printing.   Letterpress or foil press printing, please allow 15-20 business days.

delivery

Once the print production is complete, we will carefully check your stationery to ensure everything is in order before packing it together and sending it off to you. All packages will be shipped with standard tracked delivery unless you request express post for an additional fee. Once your order has been shipped, you will be provided with tracking information via email.

Australia Wide - 3-5 business days for standard shipping or 2-3 days for our express service.

For International orders generally takes 7-10 business days to arrive to most locations worldwide.
